The group stayed together under that name for seven years. In 1991, the name REALITY was shelved for the new reality of the name PAIN OF SALVATION. Led by singer and guitarist Daniel GILDENLOW, POS always pushes further the limits of its Progressive heavy-metal with gothic tendencies. POS showed a ton of potential with their debut disc, "Entropia". Their next disc, "One Hour By The Concrete Lake", takes those ambitious aspirations and realizes them in a coherent fashion. They shows influences that range from progressive and classic rock to jazz to industrial. Creating accessible music while maintaining all of those influences is a tough order.
