'Fureys and Davey Arthur' History:

After a 10 year absence, Davey Arthur rejoined the Fureys in 2003 for their 25th anniversary tour. Due to the outstanding success of their world wide concerts dates, the Fureys & Davey Arthur have remained together since, and have travelled the world bringing their songs, music and stories to all continents. They have been invited to perform for world leaders from Australian Prime Minister, John Howard to the late Pope John Paul ll. Their concerts provide the opportunity to hear them sing all their hits including: When You Were Sweet 16, Clare to Here, Green Fields of France (Tony Blair’s favourite peace song of all time), The Old Man, Leaving Nancy, Red Rose Café, Steal Away and Her Father Didn’t Like Me Anyway. The Fureys & Davey Arthur have just released their latest Double CD, entitled "30 Years On".
