'Colours Run' History:
BiographyColours Run are based in Manchester, England. Vocalist and songwriter Tim Cameron learned to sing as a teenager by playing along to his idols Neil Finn and David Gilmour, but soon discovered his own style; his songs trace tales of beauty fallen into decay, doomed love, and the struggle to hold on to your soul in the cold reality of a dead-end job. In 2005 the line-up was complete: Bassist Paul Robinson is a graduate from the Jazz Course at the Royal Academy of Music, London; his style equals that of his idol Jaco Pastorius. Trev Kennedy (drums) is entirely self-taught, developing his unique style from listening to the Motown records beloved by his parents. And Dave Green (lead guitar) is a trained jazz guitarist who is also capable of rocking out hard. Our songs are at times romantic, at times bitter, but always thoughtful.
