Addiction 64 are a dynamic pop band that expresses its original view of the world through a frenetic mix of pop, ska, punk, reggae and big band. This versatile band combines addictive musical textures and original lyrics with a highly energised format to consistently provide their audiences with a magnetic and memorable experience. Addiction 64 are one of Victoria's hardest working bands, not just concentrating on Metropolitan Melbourne's venues including: The Arthouse, Punters Club, Corner Hotel, Mayfields, The Tote, Greyhound Hotel, Esplanade Hotel, Glen Waverley Community Centre, Moorabin Town Hall, The Forum and various local and community centres but journeying out to regional areas including: Mallacoota, Sale, Morwell, Ballarat, Bendigo, Kerang, Echuca, Stawell, Venus Bay, Portland, Warrnambool, Colac, Birregurra and everywhere in between. It doesn't stop there, Addiction 64 have toured NSW playing in both Sydney and regional areas including Kiama, Tathra and Merimbula. Addiction 64 have also had some success in the media including air play on JJJ's Australian Music show, RRR, PBS and regional radio throughout Victoria as well as articles in street press and regional newspapers throughout Australia. Addiction 64 have also featured as a finalist representing Victoria on the Channel V punk state of origin. Addiction 64 is a band that works hard at strengthening their sound through a consistent schedule of both live performances and rehearsals. Their persistent and cohesive attitude towards each other and towards their art puts them at the creative cutting edge.
